Health Care? Take a Number

Women pay up to 48% more than men for the same insurance policies, and are denied coverage with "pre-existing conditions" like pregnancies and c-sections. Be counted for gender equity in health care, visit the SEIU site and take a ticket.

The ticket is for health insurance reform, which would end discrimination against women by health insurers. We are all waiting for Congress to pass health care legislation that outlaws insurance company practices like "gender rating" and "pre-existing conditions."

The virtual "line" is rapidly growing. I am 7213th against discrimination by health insurers. Women deserve equal coverage for equal premiums. Take a ticket and join the line
