Development and Communications Assistant
Excellent communication, organizational, computer and interpersonal skills required. Previous experience with fundraising, proposal writing, marketing, journalism, public relations, and coordination of special events is preferred. Ability to manage agency website and supervise development/communication interns within the development team. Prefer experience with Gift Works software. Bachelor’s Degree required. SIL Case Manager
The SIL Case Manager will have at least three years experience providing direct services to teen parents and their children. Individual shall possess the ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the agency and the program . Familiarity with the concepts of strength-based practice. Mature individual with the knowledge of the skills necessary to live independently. Candidate shall demonstrate empathy, flexibility, perseverance, and team orientation. Center for Families Case Manager
Delco Group home - Provide case management to include coordination of mom and children's medical and mental health services. Ability to facilitate children's after school programs. Must have understanding of homelessness and child welfare issues. Individual shall possess the ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the agency and the program. Familiarity with the concepts of strength-based practice. Knowledge of community resources helpful. Valid driver's license and independent travel required. BSW or related degree required. PathWays PA needs a caring and motivated individuals to provide support and supervision for our Delaware County group home serving women and children; HS/GED, Associates Degree and experience preferred. 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and alternate weekends. Trauma-Informed Therapist
PathWays PA is seeking quality therapists to provide trauma-informed therapeutic services to women, teen mothers and teen girls in their homes. Must be trained-in trauma-informed services and be familiar with the Sanctuary Model; must also be comfortable addressing sexual abuse, intimate partner violence and crisis intervention. Need to be flexible to work around clients' schedules. Degree in social work or psychology required; license preferred. Philadelphia and some DELCO area. Full time and Part time position available. Federal Policy Updates  CONGRESS IN AGREEMENT TO WORK ON A 6-MONTH CONTINUING RESOLUTION Last week House and Senate leaders announced that a deal has been reached to pass a 6-month continuing resolution to fund the federal government through next spring. The Congressional Joint Economic Committee is holding a public hearing on the economic impact of eliminating the American Community Survey (ACS) at 2:30 p.m., in Room 210 of the Canon House Office Building. Witnesses that will be speaking in opposition to the move to eliminate the ACS are Vincent Barabba, former director of the Census Bureau in two GOP administrations and Ken Simonson, chief economist for the Association of General Contractors and also representing the National Association of Business Economists. It is very important that we pack the congressional hearing room! If you cannot come, please urge your colleages to come.
