Understanding Domestic Violence: Panel Discussion at BCCC

On Wednesday, May 22nd, healthcare workers, law enforcement, social workers, teachers, and any interested community members are invited to join in a panel discussion on domestic violence awareness at a free public event in Penn Hall at Bucks County Community College. The informational workshop is sponsored by the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership (BCHIP) with St. Mary Medical Center.

The discussion panel consists of four distinguished speakers:

  • State College Detective Deirdri Fishel
  • Bensalem Detective Kevin Cornish
  • Director of Doylestown Hospital's Emergency Department Barbara Taubenberger
  • A client of A Woman's Place will share her journey from victim to survivor.
