We have the following positions open: Veterans Navigator, Program Manager, Financial Educator, Part-Time Adult Teacher, Part-Time Adult Basic Computer Teacher, Part-Time Math Teacher, and Childcare Educator. We also have one AmeriCorps VISTA position open and volunteer positions at our front desk.


Veterans Navigator (Delaware County, PA)

PathWays PA is seeking two full time Veterans Navigators for a new regional Veterans services initiative based in Delaware County, PA. The Navigators will help connect local Veterans with state, federal, and community resources necessary for securing employment and building financial stability. The Navigator will serve as a primary point of contact to help Veterans prepare for employment, access supportive services, and navigate education systems. This position will include workshop facilitation, individual career coaching, case management, service referrals, business development, and community outreach. The ideal candidate will have a record of success as a Veterans case manager, social worker, program/project manager, etc. He or she must be a “team-player” with a passion for direct service and experience with workforce development. The Navigator must be an excellent communicator with strong problem solving skills, time management skills, and a working knowledge of Veterans issues. Veterans preferred. Bachelors Degree required. Program Manager (Media, PA)

PathWays PA is seeking a Program Manager for our Delaware County residential program for women and children. The candidate shall be a mature individual who understands the clinical and concrete day to day issues that disadvantaged families struggle with and shall possess the knowledge to generate and promote programming designed to address those issues. They shall possess the ability to promote team cohesiveness and foster a non-punitive, strength based environment. The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of the daily programming including the educational, recreational, therapeutic, and life skills services as well as the overall operation of the Learning Center. This position will also encompass: supervising and monitoring the overall food preparation, purchase and storage, and compliance with all USDA standards and regulations; supervising maintenance team to assure timely and appropriate building and grounds maintenance and the ordering and distribution of supplies; monitor staffing and assure that adequate coverage is in place for all required shifts.

Financial Educator - Food Stamps (Delaware, Montgomery, Chester and Bucks County)

PathWays PA is in need of a Full-Time Financial Educator for Food Stamps. This position will serve Delaware County, Montgomery County, Chester County, and Bucks County. Must have experience in financial education and advocacy services for individuals and families; familiarity with the systems and benefits available to aid low-income individuals and families. Primary responsibility for connecting individuals and families with food stamps (SNAP). Conduct outreach and educational programs designed to promote food stamps. Connect with other organizations and centers serving low-income individuals to create opportunities for access to food stamps. Must have independent reliable transportation. Part-Time Adult Teacher (Delaware County)

PathWays PA is recruiting for a teacher for adult education (ABE/GED). Classes will be held in the evenings in Delaware County. Pay is competitive. Part-Time Adult Basic Computer Teacher (Delaware County)

PathWays PA is seeking a part time/contract instructor to teach Basic Computer Skills to adults. The job will require strong communications and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of Microsoft Office and computer maintenance; and curriculum development/teaching experience. Classes will be held in Delaware County: 40 hour (5 hours/week -- 8weeks). The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and teaching experience. Part-Time Math Teacher (Philadelphia)

PathWays PA is in need of a Math teacher to teach adult basic math. Classes will be held late afternoons and/or evenings and weekends in Philadelphia The classes will run for 6-8 weeks with 1, 2 or 3 classes per week. 5-7 hours per week and 1 hour of paid prep per week. AMERICORP VISTA (Delaware County)

Volunteer Manager (1 position available)
The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for fulfilling recruitment needs within PathWays PA's Self-Sufficiency Department. These needs include volunteers to train for the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, volunteers who can provide food stamps and other public benefits outreach, and volunteers for other programs as needed. The manager will also make volunteer recruitment sustainable by creating volunteer database and training staff and/or volunteers to manage and retain volunteers in the future. Prior experience managing volunteers preferred. Interested candidates should apply through the Americorps website at

Front Desk Receptionist (Volunteer Positions) - Holmes, PA

PathWays PA, a non-profit social service agency, is seeking volunteers to help us cover our front desk in Holmes, PA (Delaware County). Our agency helps low income women and children achieve self sufficiency through a variety of programs and educational classes. Public transportation is easily accessible. Answer phones, greet those that come in, help with copies and other light office work. Hours needing coverage are Monday - Friday - varying hours. Great office experience for someone out of school, between jobs, or perhaps retired and would like to help out in some way. Background checks are required for all volunteers.
