FEDERAL POLICY UPDATES
Would you pay a Dime a Day so 29 Million Workers can get a raise?
Read the Restaurant Opportunity Center's (ROC) new study:  "A Dime a Day: the Impact of the Miller/Harkin Minimum Wage Proposal on the Price of Food,"
It finds that raising the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $9.80/hour over the next 3 years and the tipped minimum wage from $2.13 to 70% of the regular minimum wage will have a minimal impact on food costs.

Support the Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act (PWFA)
Each year, thousands of pregnant workers face the fear of losing their jobs or risking the health of the babies while performing duties at work.

Contact Congress today and ask them to support this critical legislation. If you live in Southeastern Pennsylvania, send a thank you to those legislators who have already expressed their support, including Sen. Bob Casey, Congressman Fattah, Congresswoman Schwartz, and Congressman Brady.
