Read the Full Report FEDERAL POLICY UPDATES   Would you pay a Dime a Day so 29 Million Workers can get a raise?   Read the Restaurant Opportunity Center's (ROC) new study:  "A Dime a Day: the Impact of the Miller/Harkin Minimum Wage Proposal on the Price of Food,"  It finds that raising the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $9.80/hour over the next 3 years and the tipped minimum wage from $2.13 to 70% of the regular minimum wage will have a minimal impact on food costs. During this 90 minute webinar, Julie Myers Wood, former head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during the Bush Administration will provide an overview of the pertinent components of the Executive Order that will be applied to contractors and their subcontractors.
